The New Year is a fantastic time to follow the tradition of out with the old and in with the new. The easiest way to start is with a little clutter-clearing. Feng Shui teaches us that the home is a reflection of the state of the mind, and that the state of the mind can be influenced by the home. Therefore, the tidier your home, the tidier your inner life.
Starting at the front entrance of your house, because that's where you begin your entry into your home, clean up the clutter, getting rid of worn doormats, mailboxes, or anything that looks old and used-up. Place a relaxing fountain at the entry this is a wonderful way to set a tranquil tone throughout your home.
Find a Relationship? Remove the dirty laundry, office work, and stacks of junk from your bedroom, especially on your night tables. Clutter in your bedroom represents a desire to escape rather than to build a relationship. Clear all the clutter and have everything in pairs to show you want a partner in your life.
Improve Your Love Life? Get rid of those extra pillows, stuffed animals, and throws on your bed to make room for a lover and allow space for your relationship to grow. Place some rose quartz in the love area great for love and passion.
Reduce Stress? Create a relaxing home so you can leave the hustle and bustle from the outdoor outside your door. Hang inspiring colorful art work, family photos; salt lamps are a wonderful addition to any home.
Resolved to Lose Weight? Clear out the excess food in your refrigerator, freezer, and pantry so there is lots of empty space. Hang mirrors near these areas so you can see yourself when you are snacking or eating, as a reminder to eat slowly and only when you are hungry. Clear out your wardrobe. If it does not fit or you have not worn it in a year let it go, opening your wardrobe everyday and seeing clothes that do not fit can be very depressing. How nice would it be to only have clothes that feel and look amazing on you.
